| Spawned
from the Santa Monica Bay and hurled into the world with unanswered
questions dangling from his lips, Jamie Brisick is a writer/photographer/filmmaker
who spreads his time between New York, Los Angeles, and Brazil.
Having spent the bulk of his childhood surfing, he embraces
change, uncertainty, and impermanence with a shrug of the
shoulders, sway of the hips, and flick of the wrist. The quest
for depth, meaning and substance, however, is something he
takes very seriously. His heroes? Lenny Bruce, George Carlin,
Paul Theroux, Bob Dylan, Henry Miller, and Steve Zissou from
The Life Aquatic to name but six. |
